God saw she was getting tired, a cure was not to be. So He put his arms around her and whispered "Come with Me". With tearful eyes we saw her suffer, and saw her fade away. Although we loved her dearly we could not make her stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the BEST!

This memorial website was created to remember our dearest Katelyn Renee Shumaker who was born in Dayton, Ohio on May 24, 1999 and passed away on October 10, 2007. You will live forever in our memories and hearts! Your smile, laughter, love, and spirit will forever be treasured! Some people only dream of Angels, I held one in my arms!!!
